Share your MDS art with the world

We’re delighted to announce that the MDS Foundation is partnering with Acceleron Pharma to bring you a hugely exciting project called ART WORKS – Visions of life with MDS. If you live in the USA, we’d love you to take part by creating an artwork that shares your experience of MDS with the world. Whether you have MDS yourself, are a caregiver or have a family member with the condition, your contribution would be very welcome.

Welcome to the ‘Art Works – Visions of life with MDS’ gallery

All of the artworks exhibited here have been created by members of the MDS community, as part of MDS World Awareness Day on October 25th, 2020. They have been created to help the world understand the challenges of living with MDS, while also celebrating personal stories of love, hope and strength.
Prepare to be moved and inspired.

We are thrilled to announce the MDS Art Works Book.
This album was compiled to celebrate the initiative our joint team of MDS Foundation and Acceleron Pharma, Inc. developed to mark MDS World Awareness Day 2020.
You can now flip through the book at your leisure, to take in the art and the stories shared by members of the MDS community.

About MDS

Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) are a group of diverse bone marrow disorders in which the bone marrow does not produce enough healthy blood cells. MDS is often referred to as a “bone marrow failure disorder”. MDS is primarily a disease of the elderly (most patients are older than age 65), but MDS can affect younger patients as well.
